Thanks for this man! U tried it and it worked but how do you display the logged in username(or any type of information from the database) to the index page?
can someone help me, I keep getting the error “Fatal error: Call to a member function prepare() on null in MYsql.php” and I can’t figure out why this would be. My server is on PHP 7 and I followed this tutorial exactly (except CSS) as far as I can tell
Wow. I don’t have any PHP or mySQL experience, but I somehow managed to follow along. I clearly have a lot to learn! Now, I just have to figure out how to upload this to a website! Cheers. By the way, I like that you had errors. There were several times when I was questioning things, but when you had the errors and and went back to fix them, I had my answers.
Also, I’m not sure, but you didn’t put curly brackets around the if(isset($_COOKIE…. but it didn’t seem to affect the code. It seems to work whether or not they were in. Do you not need them? Anyway, Thanks for the great vid!
please upload the template files or a link where to download
